Xiuli Wang is the chief physician of Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital, the lifetime professor and doctoral tutor of Dermatology and Venereology of Tongji University. 国内最早开展皮肤科光动力临床治疗、基础研究和技术推广，涉及光动力治疗皮肤肿瘤、尖锐湿疣、痤疮等难治性皮肤病，首创性的将光动力应用于尿道尖锐湿疣的治疗，目前已成为该病首选治疗方案，优化光动力治疗皮肤癌及重度痤疮治疗方案，为临床规范化推广及优化治疗方案提供了指导性数据；发表论文278篇，其中SCI论文150篇；牵头制订《氨基酮戊酸光动力疗法临床应用专家共识》《氨基酮戊酸光动力疗法皮肤科临床应用指南（2021版）》《紫外线治疗皮肤病临床应用专家共识》及《中国光线性角化病临床诊疗专家共识》《Clinical guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous warts》《Clinical practice Guidelines for 5-Aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy for acne vulgaris in China》，论文被“美国痤疮治疗指南”引用。培养博士硕士研究生70名；主持国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、上海市“创新行动计划”基础研究重点项目、人事部回国留学人员基金等23项；主编主译著作4部、参编参译著作11部。获省部级科技奖一等奖2项，二等奖2项、三等奖3项、医学三等奖2项、成果推广奖1项，国家专利8项。

Prof. Xiuli Wang is the first doctor to bring in photodynamic therapy (PDT) to China and engaged in its clinical treatment, basic research and technology promotion. She was especially the first person to use topical 5-aminolevulinic acid-PDT to treat urethral condylomata acuminate in the world. By now, PDT has become the first choice of urethral condyloma acuminata treatment. She improved the protocols of the PDT in the treatment of skin cancer and severe acne vulgaris and provided guiding data for clinical standardized promotion and optimization of treatment. So far, She has published 278 papers, including 150 SCI papers and leaded the development of expert consensus on “clinical application of 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy”，“Ultraviolet radiation treatment of skin disease”，“Chinese guidelines on the clinical application of 5-aminolevulinic acid-based photodynamic therapy in dermatology (2021 edition)”and “clinical diagnosis and treatment of actinic keratosis in China”，“Clinical guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous warts”“Clinical practice Guidelines for 5-Aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy for acne vulgaris in China”. Her paper on PDT for acne was cited by “the American guidelines for the treatment of acne”. Dr. Wang guided nearly 70 master or doctor students, received 23 grants, including the national natural science fund, National Key R&D Program of China，the “innovation action plan” of key projects of Shanghai. and. She also published 4 books, as the chief editor and co-authored 11 books. She was awarded the first prize of State Scientific and Technological Award for twice, second prize of State Scientific and Technological Progress Award for twice, the third prize of State Scientific and Technological Progress Award for three times and Shanghai Medical Prize for two times. She held 8 national patents. She also hosted 6 international conferences as the chairman so far.
